Hi, I’m Caitlin! I’m the face behind Caitlin Anderson Photography.

I'm a scientist by training and a photographer at heart. I spend a lot of time focused on the small details, including the subtle patterns and the moments that happen in the background. Photography is where that part of me found its best use.

What I love about every session is capturing the feeling of that specific moment. The way a kid looks up at their parent. The laugh that catches someone off guard. The pride someone feels at the end of accomplishing something hard. Those are the images that inspire me the most.

I live in Seattle with my husband, our son, and our dog, who between them keep life hilariously chaotic. When I'm not shooting, I'm probably at a coffee shop, deep in a book, or supporting one of our many Seattle women’s sports teams.
